Dr. Viki A. Forlano

Dr. Viki Forlano, a native of Eldorado, Texas, began her San Angelo practice in 1991 and
Dr. Viki A. Forlano
is currently a Family Practice physician at Shannon Clinic in San Angelo. Dr. Forlano is involved in an ASU pre-med biology department shadow program for ASU students and enjoys helping provide students with a better understanding of how the practice of medicine actually works.

A 1983 ASU graduate with a bachelors in Biology and cum laude honors, Dr. Forlano had a commendable academic record at Angelo State. She was a Carr Scholar from 1981-1983 and was a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta, Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, and the Residence Hall Association. Dr. Forlano graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 1988, the same year she was the recipient of the Lubbock Outstanding Student in Family Practice. Dr. Forlano was board certified in Family Practice in 1991 and recertified in 1997.

Dr. Forlano is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. She is also active on the San Angelo Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Forlano married Kenneth Halfmann in 1999.
