The announcement was made by Lloyd Norris, ASU Alumni Association President, noting that Harrison will be responsible for overseeing all Alumni Association related events, fundraisers, marketing the Association, and communications with alumni.  Mrs. Harrison has served the last two years as Director of Marketing for Shannon Health System.

 Mrs. Harrison has served on a variety of community boards including Hospice of San Angelo as a founding director.  She is a former San Angelo Board of Education Trustee and served as the Secretary, Vice President, and President.  Harrison also served a term as a Chamber of Commerce director and was honored with the 2001 Chamber’s Outstanding Prospector’s Award.

 Currently Mrs. Harrison is a trustee with the San Angelo Health Foundation and serves on the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Foundation boards and the ASU College of Business Advisory Council.

 Mrs. Harrison is married to George, a local attorney, and has three adult children, Amy Etchison of Abilene, John Harrison of Midland, and Jeff Harrison of San Angelo.

 Former Director of Alumni Relations, Lynsey Flage was recently appointed Director of Marketing by Angelo State University President Joseph C. Rallo.
